When can I expect my order?

We ship on a daily basis (excluding U.S. holidays) Monday - Friday.
Your order takes one day to process and ships the next business day.
Orders placed after 7:00 p.m. (EST) process the next business day.

Shipping method is United States Postal Service. Within United States expected delivery 2-4 days. International 7-14 days.

Orders placed on Saturday & Sunday will ship on Monday. You can continue to place orders on Saturdays, Sundays & holidays.

Do I need to register to make a purchase?

No. Click the "Add To Cart" button and your order process will begin.

Do you have automatic monthly or bi-monthly shipment available?

I have large pores. Which products would make them small?

During exercise, a natural occurrence is for pores to dilate and expel sweat (which is a good thing). Having large pores in general is due to genetics.

There are no products that "cure" large pores. However, if your pores become enlarged due to trapped dirt and excess oil production from sweat, you need to remove this to restore a normal flow of oil from the pores. Exfoliating (removing dead skin cells) with natural salicylic acid penetrates the pore's lining and will dislodge what's trapped inside the pore causing them to enlarge. Will exercising with make-up on clog my pores?

Yes.

How will I know how much my shipping costs are?

Shipping cost is done strictly by amount of weight (ounces). United States Postal Service. Up to one pound is $5.00. There is an option at check out to calculate costs before submitting your order.

Does lactic acid build-up during exercise affect the skin?

No.

Can men use Motion Medica too?

Which products would be best for those who don't workout?

Do your products contain gluten?

No.

I ride a motorcycle and after riding my skin feels dirty and sweaty. What skin products would you suggest for bikers?

The Stellar Performance Post Workout Cleanser, for face & body (I love this after dirt bike riding). The wind also sucks the moisture out of your skin making it dry. This cleanser won't dry your skin. Also, stash a bottle of the No Time To Shower Botanical Mist to keep you clean & fresh during riding until you can shower. This is great too if you do a lot of highway riding with car pollution and soot.

Do your products contain artificial parfum/fragrance?

No. The scents are the natural ingredients.

Do you ship to Australia?

Does the up and down motion of running and aerobics cause skin to sag?

No.

Will using non-comedogenic make-up clog my pores during exercise?

Yes. When cosmetics state non-comedogenic, it is not referring to exercise. Your pores naturally open to expel sweat. Mixed with sweat and dirt, the make-up on your skin will get trapped into your pores doubling your chance of breaking out. This may not happen right away, but eventually it will effect your skin.

If you must wear make-up during exercise use the Stellar Performance Post Workout Cleanser then follow the Tenacious Champion Exfoliating Cleanser as soon as you can after exercising.

Why are products containing mineral oil bad for your skin?

Mineral oil blocks your pores to keep moisture in but prevents your skin from eliminating toxins effectively. It also leads to blemishes.

Will exercise eliminate skin atrophy?

Eliminate it? No. Help to prevent it. Yes.

My skin burns a little and feels irritated from sweat during exercise. Any suggestions?

Sweat is a mix of water, salt and a few other minerals. When the water evaporates, you're left with abrasive salt on your skin. At pre-workout, cleanse with the Unwavering Determination Daily Cleanser follow with the Antioxidant Endorphin Rush Serum.

Why are parabens bad for people with acne?

Anceic hormonally compromised persons are affected by parabens because they are hormone disruptors, thus causing breakouts.

What essential oils should not be applied on skin?

The following oils found in skin care products will clog pores and possibly lead to breakouts: Soybean oil, Shark Liver oil, Mink oil, Cotton Seed oil, Coconut Butter and Cocoa Butter.

Why is the ingredient Sodium Lauryl Sulfate bad for people with acne?

Some of my new facial and Motion Medica clients who first come to me with very bad acne was usually using a cleanser with this. (SLS) is known to clog pores and actually prevents acne from clearing up.

How does Motion Medica offer spa-like, luxury skin care that costs so little?

In skin care & cosmetics, 90% of the cost is advertising. You're not paying us for a big brand that runs full page ads in prestigious magazines or national televised commercials, so our costs are significantly lower. Also, most skin care is water and filler/thickener and expensive packaging, this adds to the cost (that you pay for) and usable product.

Are your products TSA approved?

Any skin care product that is 3.4 ounces or smaller and a non-aerosol in a clear bag is TSA approved. A skin care line which claims to have a better product because it is TSA approved is just a marketing gimmick. According to a TSA agent "The TSA does not endorse or approve [skin care] product lines in favor".

Why is artificial fragrance in skin care products not good for the skin?

Artificial fragrance, also listed as "parfum" in ingredients contains allergens, sensitizers and neuortoxins. These ingredients may also intefere with hormones. There is not enough scientific data to make the hormone issue a fact.

Why don't you use Benzoyl Peroxide in your products?

This ingredient costs pennies and although an organic compound in the peroxide family, it's also used for bleaching hair, teeth and polymerising polyester. A common ingredient in lots of mainstream skin care lines-it does not hold up to Motion Medica's standards and has a drying side effect.

Do you test your products on animals?

No. Animals don't use our products. Humans do.

Do you ship to APO addresses?

Do your products contain mineral oil?

Why should I cleanse my skin within a half hour of post workout with Motion Medica?

Perspiration contains bacteria, salt and oil that needs to be removed from skin before these elements settle into pores resulting in dullness, dryness, clogged pores and possible acne or sensitive skin.

The Stellar Performance Post Workout Cleanser and the Tenacious Champion Exfoliating Cleanser is formulated to cut through sweat and thoroughly cleanse the skin without stripping natural essential oils leaving skin healthy and clean. A typical cleansing product may dry the skin and is not able to deep cleanse the pores of the avid exercisers' skin which causes skin to appear dull.

I drink lots of water during my workouts but my skin still seems dehydrated and dull. What would be suggested?

The Restorative Marine Moisturizer contains Abnfeltia Concinna naturally derived from red marine algae. This key ingredient restores skin's hydration caused by water loss by 70% within four weeks.

For dullness, you need to exfoliate dead skin cells off and be sure you are taking at least 2 tablespoons of essential oils. My favorite for healthy skin is cod liver oil and flax seed oil.

Are your products biodegradable?

Yes.

I have sensitive skin. What should I use on my skin after a workout?

Cleanse with the Unwavering Determination Daily astringent cleanser. Apply the Antioxidant Endorphin Rush Serum (it has ingredients to soothe skin). Never use products that contain alcohol or harsh chemicals.

Will using tinted sunblock during exercising clog my pores?

Eventually-yes. Try to use one without the tint/color.
